Essential Functions |

• |
Compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and payroll deductions to be withheld, and employee identification number, from time sheets and other records. |
|
• |
Prepare computer input forms, enter data into computer files, or compute wages and deductions and post to payroll records. |
|
• |
Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll. |
|
• |
Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions and insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records. |
|
• |
Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions. |
|
• |
Reconcile all payroll related ledger accounts. |
|
• |
Prepare all payroll related government reports. |
|
• |
Keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages. |
|
