The Payroll Administrator III assists in the preparation of payroll reconciliations and ensures that payroll is accurately updated. They are responsible for responding to payroll inquiries and performing payroll processing calculations as required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, prepare payroll journal entries, and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts, including payroll accruals
- Prepare monthly payroll accruals and payroll-related reconciliations
- Respond to all payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner
- Update payroll spreadsheets weekly and balance them with the payroll register
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and documents
- Process and submit payroll reports in a timely manner
- Maintain payroll records and file tax reports
Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Payroll or Accounting.
- OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
- OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
