REPORTS TO:                       Treasurer

EMPLOYMENT TERM:           261 days

SALARY:                               Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale w/ Coordinator Index

LOCATION(S):                     Central Office

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing the employee benefits (including PEIA, American Fidelity, Dental, and Vision)  and payroll process including the processing of payroll for all regular employees, substitutes, and miscellaneous employees. Accountable for ensuring that pay is accurate and that appropriate deductions are withheld. Role includes directing the processing of timesheets, tax filings, WVEIS/ TSSI verifications, garnishments and Board actions. Reviews and approves payroll deductions, interprets district policies and government regulations in connection with payroll procedures, and directs preparation of required reports.

Salary Range: $65,413 to 107,193
