Position Summary

Industrial Air Flow Dynamics (IAFD) is continuing to grow and currently has an immediate opening for a Paycom Payroll Specialist to join our corporate team in Cleveland, Texas.

This role will work alongside our current Payroll Specialist to support the processing of weekly multi-state payroll across three affiliated companies, supporting field service, manufacturing, and corporate operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Paycom experience and a solid understanding of complex payroll environments involving prevailing wages, certified payroll, travel pay, per diem, and multi-state tax compliance. This position reports directly to the Controller.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using Paycom.
• Manage payroll tax setup and compliance across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Administer payroll involving prevailing wages, certified payroll reporting, travel pay, per diem, and field labor.
• Review and audit payroll data, including hours, overtime, deductions, reimbursements, and employee tax setup for accuracy.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and managers to ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll approvals.
• Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, garnishments, PTO balances, and direct deposit information within Paycom.
• Support payroll reporting, audits, quarterly processing, and year-end payroll activities.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or field service environments preferred.
• Hands-on Paycom experience required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance required.
• Knowledge of Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage requirements, and certified payroll reporting required.
• Experience handling travel pay, per diem, and project-based payroll required.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
