The Patient Accounts Representative II – Customer Service is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, physician offices, and internal departments regarding hospital billing and patient accounts. This position responds to incoming telephone calls, manages assigned work queues, resolves billing inquiries, processes account updates, and ensures timely and accurate account resolution while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. The Patient Accounts Representative utilizes the Epic system to research account information, document interactions, process account updates, resolve billing discrepancies, manage assigned work queues, and support efficient revenue cycle operations.
