A well-established law firm is seeking a senior tax attorney to join its Taxation, Trusts & Estates group. This role is open across multiple California offices and offers flexibility in location. For the right candidate, there is a clear path toward a leadership position within the practice.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working on sophisticated tax matters while also mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to the growth of a collaborative practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on tax aspects of complex corporate and partnership transactions
• Structure and support private equity and strategic M&A deals
• Handle domestic and international tax planning and structuring
• Work on fund formation, capital markets transactions, financings, and restructurings
• Collaborate with corporate, finance, and private client teams on high-value matters

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 7+ years of tax experience at a law firm
• Strong background in transactional tax, including M&A and partnership work
• Experience with private equity, cross-border planning, and complex structuring
• Interest in mentorship and contributing to practice development
• Large law firm training preferred
• LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred
