Part-Time Accounting Specialist

REPORTS TO                                      :               Mary A. Worman, Treasurer

WORK WEEK/YEAR                           :               Part-time, up to 29 ½ hours per week with schedule to be mutually determined.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS              :              

• Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or proof of education.
• BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required thereafter.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS        :

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain accurate and complete records.
• Experience in accounts receivable, inventory, vendor records, and public records retention.
• Work well in collaboration with others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills.
• Experience working in a Treasurer’s office in a public school district preferred but not required.
