As an Audit Manager with a focus on Reinsurance and Insurance in Group Internal Audit (GIA), you will leverage your experience across the end-to-end value chain while contributing to a broad range of audit activities. You will regularly engage with senior stakeholders and functional leaders across multiple business units.

This role offers the opportunity to address themes with enterprise-wide impact and to help shape and strengthen the risk culture at Swiss Re.

About the Team

GIA provides independent and objective assurance to support the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee in protecting Swiss Re’s assets, reputation, and sustainability. GIA’s vision is to advance Swiss Re’s resilience by delivering risk-responsive assurance and providing innovative insights that strengthen the control environment and support the achievement of business objectives.

About You

We are looking for an inspiring and curious professional who is a critical thinker, delivery-oriented, and a strong team player. You communicate effectively in English and are comfortable operating in ambiguous environments. You bring a passion for innovation and transformation.

Additional Requirements

CPA, CA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus

Our company operates under a hybrid work model, with the expectation that employees work from the office three days per week. Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship/visa transfers/visa extension or relocation support.

The base salary hiring range for this new position located in Toronto is CAD $160,000 to $185,000. The specific base salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
