Job Summary
The position of the Insurance Coordinator is to ensure insurance dental claims are paid in an accurate and timely manner. Below are just a few of the daily tasks and responsibilities this role requires.
The work requires that sensitive timelines be met so some flexibility in these responsibilities will be needed at times.
Just a few of the Responsibilities
Working with payers to resolve claim issues
Actively reviewing claims rejection reports and correcting any issues
Actively work any insurance denials or no pays
Researching outstanding claims & >30 days in a timely manner
Submitting refunds requests for any payments made in error
Submitting corrective claims for any incorrect procedures rendered
Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility and dental billing
You Must Have
Some familiarity using Google suite.
Strong problem solving and research skills
Excellent communication skills
High School Diploma or GED
Prefer some Orthodontic insurance experience
Nice to Have
Understanding of CDT Codes and 837 terminologies
