Operational Finance Director

Amca • El Segundo, California • Full Time

Posted on Tue, Jun 2, 2026

Amca is building America’s new industrial base. Since the 1990s, our ability to build new aviation and military systems and maintain the ones we already have has eroded. Today, the gap between what the nation needs to produce and what it is capable of producing is the largest it has been in generations.

To help close that gap, Amca rapidly develops and manufactures new critical components and subsystems required to build and sustain the planes, military vehicles, and core infrastructure America needs. Today, we operate seven factories nationwide, including our advanced prototyping and testing headquarters in El Segundo, and deliver avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for platforms such as the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, A320neo, A321, Mk-48, and M1 Abrams.

Overview

Our Operational Finance Director is a high-horsepower, systems-oriented leader who will architect and operationalize Amca’s annual planning and performance management infrastructure across a rapidly expanding network of factories. This role will build bottoms-up annual operating plans tied directly to Amca’s core value drivers – new product introduction and operational improvements – partner with general managers to execute against those plans, and create the systems, reporting cadence, and organizational frameworks required to scale strategic finance in a highly acquisitive environment. This individual will function as both architect and operator – driving accountability, strategic clarity, and measurable value creation across the business.

This role is part of Amca’s Operational Finance function and reports directly to Matt Soulas (CFO), with frequent interaction with the executive team and general managers across Amca’s growing network of factories. This role is an excellent fit for someone who is smart, analytically rigorous, and willing to hustle, and who has an intense personal interest in building the financial infrastructure that drives accountability and value creation in a high-growth aerospace platform. The successful candidate will be both deeply thoughtful about financial planning and performance management as well as biased toward taking discrete, high-quality action that benefits Amca’s subsidiaries and overall business.
