Operational Accounting Assistant

Capital Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Operational Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role supports daily accounting operations with a focus on invoice coding, fuel program administration, and financial tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and deadline driven.

Key Responsibilities

• Route and code invoices across multiple entities
• Manage fuel card program including setup, reporting, payments, and issue resolution
• Partner with operations teams to track costs and inventory
• Support month end, quarter end, and year end close processes
• Assist with design and documentation of accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
