Office Clerk – Accounts Payable & Administration (Non-Exempt)
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Office Clerk with strong Accounts Payable and general office administration experience to support our branch operations. This role reports to the Office Manager and plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, organized office workflows, and excellent internal and external customer service.
If you enjoy a variety of clerical responsibilities, financial tasks and keeping an office running smoothly, this position offers a great opportunity to grow and cross-train in multiple administrative functions.
The Role
Accounts Payable & Financial Support
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with reconciliations, daily deposits, and accrual tracking.
- Maintain vendor files and support branch file administration.
- Prepare and review daily revenue calculations and support preparation of bank statements, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with A/P and A/R functions as assigned.
Office Administration
- Perform accurate computer data entry and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Prepare, print, and organize daily paperwork for routes and billing.
- Manage filing systems and routine office tasks.
- Provide customer service support in person and by phone.
- Assist with general office upkeep.
Technology & Reporting
- Use Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets and reports.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and other office software for documentation and communication
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of administrative experience with a focus on Accounts Payables
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience with data entry and adding machine operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy.
Work Environment
This role is based in an office within an industrial laundry facility. While primarily officeâbased, the employee may occasionally be exposed to temperature variations, odors, humidity, lint, or dust when entering plant areas. Regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing in an office environment.
Occasional lifting of boxes up to 25 lbs. Filing, reaching, stooping, and fine motor tasks.
