NetSuite Administrator

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced NetSuite Administrator to manage and optimize our financial technology ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of NetSuite.

Additionally, you will serve as the system administrator for our broader financial tech stack, including Stripe, Concur, Visual Lease, SimpleLegal, and our client's Platform, ensuring seamless data flow, robust integration management, and reliable SQL-based reporting. This is a critical hands-on role designed to maintain operational continuity, support ongoing projects, and troubleshoot system issues.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of dedicated NetSuite Administration experience to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1. NetSuite Administration (Primary Focus)

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all NetSuite administrative tasks, including user roles, permissions, custom fields, forms, and workflow creation.

• Troubleshoot system errors, manage bundle updates, and oversee Saved Searches and financial reporting configurations.

• Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity across all NetSuite modules (e.g., Core Finance, AP/AR, Fixed Assets).

2. Financial Tech Stack & Integration Management

• Administer and maintain secondary financial systems: Concur (expense/travel), Visual Lease (lease accounting), and SimpleLegal (legal ops/invoicing).

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations between NetSuite and these auxiliary systems.

• Ensure automated data syncs run smoothly and resolve any data mapping or transfer failures promptly

3. Data Analytics & SQL Support

• Utilize SQL to query back-end databases, perform data validation, and assist with data migration or cleanup efforts.

• Develop and maintain custom saved searches and reports to support the Finance and Accounting teams' data requests.

4. Support & Documentation

• Provide timely helpdesk support for internal users experiencing technical issues across all financial systems

• Document system configurations, integration mappings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) established during the contract period

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of dedicated NetSuite Administration experience (NetSuite Administrator Certification is a strong plus).

• Direct experience administering Concur, Visual Lease, and SimpleLegal (or highly comparable enterprise financial tools).

• Proven experience managing and troubleshooting API-based or iPaaS integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and reporting.

• Solid understanding of core accounting concepts (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, lease accounting) to effectively communicate with the Finance team.

• Ability to diagnose complex integration errors and system bugs independently.

• Comfortable jumping into an existing ecosystem, assessing current setups quickly, and delivering immediate value in a temporary capacity.
