May 2026 Summary/Objective The Materials and Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through procurement, material planning, scheduling coordination, supplier management, and reporting activities. This role ensures raw materials, packaging, and production-critical supplies are available to support production requirements while balancing inventory levels, supplier performance, and operational priorities. The position works closely with Operations, Production Scheduling, Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Logistics teams to maintain continuity of supply, improve operational visibility, and support efficient manufacturing operations. The Materials and Procurement Specialist also supports the development of reporting tools, exception-management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and production readiness. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times due to running of machines.  Employee is required to wear proper PPE equipment (safety glasses, mask, proper fitting respirator) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb, stand, lift push or pull up to 20 lbs. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
