We are seeking a Manufacturing Senior Financial Analyst to support plant operations, cost accounting, and manufacturing performance analysis.
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Senior Financial Analyst partners with Plant Managers and Operations leadership to drive cost control, standard costing, inventory accuracy, capital analysis, and operational forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on plant finance or cost accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing variances (PPV, labor efficiency, material usage, overhead absorption)
Support standard cost development, cost rolls, and inventory valuation
Perform inventory analysis (turns, slow-moving/obsolete inventory, reserves)
Lead plant-level budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities
Support monthly close, accruals, and variance analysis
Develop manufacturing KPI dashboards (scrap %, cost per unit, labor efficiency, capacity utilization)
Conduct capital investment analysis (ROI, IRR, NPV, payback)
Improve ERP reporting and financial modeling processes
Partner cross-functionally to drive productivity and margin improvement
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, plant accounting, or cost accounting
Strong knowledge of standard costing and inventory accounting
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred:
ERP experience (IFS, Epicor, or similar manufacturing systems)
GAAP knowledge
Experience supporting capital projects and productivity initiatives
