The Role
We are at an exciting point in Fitzgerald Power’s journey, and as part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to welcome a Manager to our Tax team. This position represents a critical role in shaping the future of our Tax division. The role will primarily focus on providing our tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The candidate will have the opportunity to lead our corporation tax compliance service, while also working across all tax heads.

What will you do?
- Maintaining, developing, and leading strong client relationships.
- Lead the corporation tax compliance services to a portfolio of clients and assist with the income tax and VAT compliance services.
- Build and maintain relationships with the clients and provide a high standard of client service.
- Provide advisory services across all tax heads to a portfolio of private individuals and corporate clients. The advisory services will be carried out with the tax partner or tax director and will include due-diligence, IP planning, and reorganization assignments.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments on projects and business development initiatives
- Contribute to project to enhance the operational management of the tax department and the improvement of the quality of services to client
- Provide mentorship to junior staff, and work on attracting, developing, and retaining the best talents for the firm.
What will you bring?
- Professional accountancy qualification is preferred (ITI, CTA, ACCA, ACA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role within an Irish tax practice.
- Experienced in managing a client portfolio with strong commercial expertise.
- Strong technical skills to deliver tax advisory services.
- Prior experience of working with FDI and personal tax planning cases (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong Microsoft applications skills; Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
