Overview
THE ROLE:
The Manager of Procurement and Vendor Management reports to the Sr. Manager, Indirect Sourcing and is responsible for leading vendor management and operational support within the technology category. This role oversees vendor performance governance, contract and policy compliance, and vendor analytics to ensure suppliers meet business, financial, and service expectations. Responsibilities include defining and monitoring KPIs and SLAs, reviewing vendor performance in real time, developing dashboards and scorecards, and managing vendor data accuracy and reporting. The manager supports sourcing initiatives by resolving complex vendor issues, enabling savings and cost avoidance, and improving stakeholder satisfaction. The role also owns vendor data governance and processes, leverages technology to centralize and automate vendor information, conducts market scans for innovative solutions, and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
This position will be based in Torrance CA in a hybrid set up (3 days in the office, 2 remote)
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
• Develop and execute vendor management strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Provide operational support to the Sourcing team for contract execution and ongoing business needs.
• Own vendor performance management, including evaluations, KPIs, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and manage vendor risk, including financial stability and compliance exposure.
• Maintain strong relationships with business owners and key vendors, creating trusted partnerships that drive value, collaboration, and business outcomes.
• Lead vendor analytics, reporting, and interactive dashboards to drive transparency and insight.
• Drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement across vendor management processes.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sourcing, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure vendor alignment with business needs.

Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related field with 7+ years of professional work experience, including a minimum of 6-8+ years of direct vendor management experience.
• Experience in the technology space, including license management, cloud infrastructure and systems
• Team leadership and focus, ability to develop positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple vendor relationships and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent technical, verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience in data management, product management, or vendor management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter and problem-solving passion that requires minimal guidance.
