Responsibilities
Your Role:
As a key member of the Fund Accounting team, a Manager is responsible for producing high-quality NAV Packages. In addition, a Manager must develop strong technical and interpersonal skills in order to coach the on-shore and off-shore teams.
- Providing technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients and internally
- Coordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations group
- Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process
- Review fund partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials
- Lead the Implementation of fund structures on accounting system
- Coach, develop and train staff
- Complete ad hoc reports as needed
- Review trading and operations processes for the Company’s real assets division
- Complete any other functions required as part of the business of the Company
Qualifications
About You:
- Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics).
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- 7+ years real estate and/or private equity experience
- Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations
- Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate Funds
- Experience in reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full sets of financial statements, including notes
- Knowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- Knowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.)
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
Salary Range: USD$ 120,000 - 160,000
