Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of plant-facing FP&A analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and business impact
- Coach analysts to move beyond reporting and translate financial data into actionable insights that drive real results for their operational business partners
- Serve as a business partner to Gary Works plant leadership, supporting data-driven decision making at all levels of the organization
- Drive accountability and value-creating action through robust variance analysis, leveraging a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and business drivers
- Support the annual operating plan, X+Y forecasts, monthly updates, and financial close process for the Gary Works site
- Develop business cases and financial support for capital appropriations and large-scale investments
- Drive process improvements that result in standardization, efficiencies, and effectiveness across the FP&A function
- Develop analysis and presentations to support plant and/or executive leadership, including proactive and insightful commentary on results
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A or other data/analysis-intensive fields preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing FP&A teams that deliver insights driving business impact
- Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and influence decisions at the operational and executive level
- Well-developed financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Power BI, or Python is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and results-driven, action-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
- FPAC certification is a plus
