At Coram AI, we’re reimagining video security for the modern world. Our cloud-native platform uses computer vision and AI to help businesses stay safe, make smarter decisions, and move faster; from real-time alerts to seamless clip sharing and multi-site visibility.
You’ll be joining an ambitious, fast-moving team that values clarity, craftsmanship, and impact. Every person here has a voice, ships meaningful work, and helps shape how AI can make the world safer and more connected.
About Coram AI
Coram is building the defining Physical AI platform of this decade. We are growing rapidly, with strong market pull, and a clear mission: protect any physical space through always-on AI agents that convert sensor data from cameras, access controls, and alarms into real-time actions and insights.
The founding team brings deep technical DNA from self-driving and robotics. We have built and scaled teams at Zoox (acquired by Amazon for $1.5B), Lyft, and Toyota, and previously founded companies that were acquired by Lyft. We know how to build category-defining products and scale them.
We are going after a massive market with a vertically integrated platform across software and hardware. Coram is fundamentally different from incumbents: our platform is camera-agnostic, allowing customers to use existing infrastructure instead of locking them into proprietary ecosystems like Verkada.
Our core technical advantage is a proprietary AI stack running on high-performance GPUs deployed on-premise. This architecture allows us to move faster than anyone else in adopting new AI capabilities while delivering low-latency, privacy-first solutions at scale.
Coram is the only company today offering a truly open, AI-native, multi-product platform in physical security. This has translated into best-in-class win rates and positions us to build a generational, multi-billion-dollar company in a massive and underserved market.
On the GTM side, we have built a proprietary, engineering-driven sales engine that creates a real structural advantage. The team has consistently exceeded targets every quarter, and the foundation is now in place to scale from a high-performing team into a world-class revenue organisation.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of finance, sales, customer success, strategy, and operations. This role partners with finance and revenue operations to drive the company's FP&A and biz-ops function: building and maintaining forecasting models, designing commission and incentive plans, surfacing insights through KPI reporting and variance analysis, and translating financial data into decisions across GTM, product, and operations. The role will also help drive FP&A initiatives, evaluate how the business is expected to evolve over the coming quarters, and support key strategic decision-making.
In addition, this role will play a critical part in post-sales operations, managing processes that span from invoicing through cash collection. Responsibilities will also include inventory management, vendor coordination, and operational planning.
Because Coram is a physical AI hardware and software company, the role will involve close collaboration with hardware vendors and supply chain partners. This includes forecasting hardware inventory, managing GPU utilisation, and understanding how infrastructure decisions impact the company’s cash flow, margins, and overall inventory profile.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in strategy and operations roles at a B2B startup
Experience working closely with inside sales, finance, and operations teams
Strong educational background from a top MBA program or a degree in economics, finance, or engineering
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience building financial and operational models using tools such as Excel
Experience with forecasting, FP&A, and operational planning
Proven ability to build scalable processes and improve organizational efficiency
Strong execution skills with the ability to operate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Personal Characteristics
Execution-focused operator — You don't just design processes; you run them, fix them, and own the outcomes. You're in the data every day, not waiting for someone to build you a report
Direct communicator — You say what you mean without sugarcoating. You deliver hard truths about pipeline, forecast, and performance with clarity and without hedging
Owns outcomes — When something breaks in the operations engine, you fix it first and assign blame never. You operate with a set-and-forget reliability — if you own it, it gets done on time without reminders
High urgency — You operate with a strong sense of urgency. Today, not tomorrow. This week, not next week. You understand that a startup's best leverage is fast execution
Comfortable being challenged — You welcome hard questions about your assumptions, models, and recommendations. Getting defensive when questioned is not in your DNA
Treat failures as learning — You openly discuss what didn't work, share the learning, and move forward. You create environments where the team does the same
Attention to detail — You catch the deal that shouldn't be in commit, the territory that doesn't add up, the metric that moved and nobody noticed. Craftsmanship matters to you
Bias toward action — You make decisions quickly with incomplete information when the decision is reversible. You'd rather ship an 80% solution today than a 100% solution next month
We're on a mission to transform a $50B+ legacy industry by bringing the power of cutting-edge multimodal LLMs and computer vision to real-world security and operations. From firearm detection to intelligent access control, our AI-native platform turns every camera and sensor into a smart system that enhances safety, efficiency, and awareness.
Founded by Ashesh Jain (ex-Lyft Level 5, PhD Cornell) and Peter Ondruska (ex-Lyft, PhD Oxford), Coram AI is backed by Battery Ventures, Mosaic, and 8VC, have raised over $30M, and were named to the CB Insights AI 100 as one of the most promising AI companies in the world.
