What you will be doing:
- Ensure all loads are billed daily and that comments are recorded for any loads that cannot be billed.
- Confirm that contracts and rate agreements are in place for all managed by the company.
- Verify that all contracts for regular customers are up-to-date, including rates, accessorial charges, detention fees, and fuel charges.
- Ensure auto-rating for all regular customers is accurate and current.
- Achieve departmental goals for billing accuracy, unbilled orders, and adjustments.
- Effectively manage the Accounts Receivable team members.
- Handle collections for accounts receivable, including resolving shortages and overpayments.
- Assist with onboarding and billing of new customers until they are transferred to the Billing Coordinator.
- Address paperwork inconsistencies with drivers.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience in setting and achieving departmental goals and standards, and developing actionable plans.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
