The Opportunity

The Accounting Manager, Property Operations, leads the Shared Services team and ensures timely, accurate accounting for designated non-controllable expenses. The role also oversees financial reporting, analysis, and accounting for development projects, ensuring the reliability and timeliness of financial information. This position partners closely with Finance, Operations, Development, and external stakeholders to support effective decision-making.

Key Accountabilities

Based on Chartwell Retirement Residences’ business plan and corporate goals, and in consultation with the Director Operations Finance, the Accounting Manager, Property Operations is expected to lead a team of professionals and will be responsible for:
