JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is seeking a highly motivated Gas Plant Accounting Manager to join our team during a period of continued growth and transformation. In this role, you will lead and oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly plant accounting activities across Natural Gas Gathering and Processing operations, including settlement contracts, contract reviews within the plant settlement system, monthly close processes, variance analysis, and complex ad hoc projects and analyses.
Key responsibilities include managing the end‑to‑end plant settlement cycle, providing oversight and review of theoreticals and imbalance analyses, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and serving as a subject matter expert for complex commercial arrangements (including percent‑of‑proceeds, fee‑based, and TIK agreements). The Plant Accounting Manager drives continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems, leads cross‑functional reviews of plant performance and variances, oversees preparation of internal management reporting, and supports external, internal, and customer audits.
This position requires strong leadership and decision‑making skills, advanced analytical capabilities, deep expertise in midstream and plant accounting concepts, and the ability to interpret and apply complex contract terms to financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success leading and developing high‑performing teams, collaborating across functions, and navigating change in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with Waterfield and/or TIPS is required.
This role is hybrid and requires in‑office presence at the Dallas office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
