M&A Finance Manager | Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Our Client, a global leader in medical technologies, is seeking an M&A Finance Manager to support a high-growth division with an active and ongoing acquisition strategy.
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid – onsite 1–2 days/week; Thursdays required)
Compensation: $150K–$165K base + 17% target bonus (commensurate with experience)

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys complex problem-solving and serving as a trusted partner in major business transactions — spanning deal modeling and due diligence, post-close integration, and long-term deal tracking against model projections.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain complex financial models — including full P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow — to support deal evaluation and performance forecasting
- Lead and project-manage cross-functional collaboration throughout diligence and deal modeling, ensuring timely and accurate financial deliverables
- Manage and review finance-related data room materials, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment across stakeholders
- Create and present financial insights, analyses, and recommendations to cross-functional leadership to support decision-making
- Oversee non-GAAP forecasting, approvals, tracking, and reporting for active deals
- Own recurring and ad hoc reporting, including integration dashboards, deal trackers, and acquisition reporting
- Support deal-related month-end close tasks, including post-close entries and operational reviews
- Drive integration efforts, including financial system mapping, forecast alignment, and partnership with Commercial and Finance Operations teams to ensure smooth transitions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 8 years of finance, accounting, or related business experience at a mid-size or larger company
- Strong understanding of 3-statement financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated financial modeling experience
- Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements, general ledger concepts, accruals, and prepaid expenses
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and project management experience (e.g., owning a close process, leading an audit, or managing a forecast planning cycle)
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA
- Medical device or manufacturing industry experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance
- Public company experience
- Investment banking or private equity experience
