Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Local Licensed CPA or EA, with a minimum of 3 years tax preparation experience, to join our team. This position is full-time during tax season (Jan-Apr, Aug-Oct) and flexible for the remainder of the year, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a balanced schedule.
This position begins as an in-person position, for training. Remote work may be possible for the right candidate after in-personal trial period.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate filings
- Stay up to date on federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements
You’re Perfect for This Role If:
- You have 3 - 5 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns, preferably using UltraTax software.
- Credentials of CPA or EA designation, PTIN registration
- You’re detail-oriented, organized, kind of obsessed with accuracy and love spreadsheets.
- You are familiar with Google & Microsoft Suite, UltraTax, Onvio, Sage, QuickBooks, Quicken, and cloud-based portals.
