•  Thorough knowledge and the ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
•  Thorough knowledge and the ability to apply Generally Accepted Audit Standards and related theories
•  Thorough knowledge of Governmental Accounting
•  Broad knowledge of federal, state and agency budgeting and fiscal policies and procedures
•  Extensive knowledge of agency organization and function
•  Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with all levels of the organization
•  Ability to work under pressure and to practice diplomacy, tact, and courtesy
•  Ability to work independently
•  Ability to problem-solve and research and recommend remedies to complex issues
•  Ability to develop and follow effective procedures

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or compensatory experience working in the accounting field
• 2-4 years of accounting/auditing experience
• Knowledge of GAAP Required    6     Years
• Knowledge of GAAS Required    6     Years
• People soft experience. Required    2     Years
• Auditing Experience     Highly desired    2     Years
• Euna financial & grannts software experience.   Highly desired          
• Government Accounting Experience    Nice to have      2     Years
