Junior Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas, including payables and receivables. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounts payable
• Accounts receivable functions that include:
  • Invoice processing 
  • Matching purchase orders to invoices
  • Vendor management
  • Billing customers (including AIA)
  • Payment processing  

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years' experience in accounting (construction experience is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent organization and time management
• Attention to detail and accuracy
