About the role:
As a Junior Associate / Associate (Band 1), you will be responsible for delivering high quality outputs and building professional expertise. This will be achieved through developing foundational skills and knowledge, contributing towards overall team objectives, timely execution of tasks and collaboration. You will be open-minded and embrace change whilst valuing diverse perspectives and channelling a 'can-do' attitude. You will support business and people growth to enable Aztec's future ambitions. Key Role Responsibilities: • Assist with all aspects of accounting matters, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc investor requests • Assist with the completion of routine audit queries and some aspects of company secretarial matters including preparation of filings for regulatory bodies • Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions • Maintain accurate records on company systems and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of bookkeeping • Ensure Aztec internal control frameworks are followed in full • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns to the extent relevant • Undertake routine office and clerical tasks where necessary • Support with and/or complete fund administration processes as required.We understand that everyone has different needs, and that’s why our employee package includes a variety of benefits.
