Junior Accountant - Healthcare

Recruit Secure, LLC is assisting our client in seeking an energetic Junior Accountant with experience in the Healthcare Industry.  Our client supports the back-office functions for several for-profit Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Homes (SNF) in several states.

The Junior Accountant supports the accounting team (Controller and Senior Accountants) in the day-to-day financial operations of the company. The successful candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience handling AP, Cash Management, Bank reconciliations, Month-End closings, and General Ledger functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA in Accounting or Finance required;
• Minimum of 1-2 years of finance and/or accounting experience
• At least 1 year of Skilled Nursing Home experience required
• Expertise with Excel
• Must be familiar with using any Accounting packages.  Experience with SAGE a big plus
• Should have strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
