We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant who wants to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience across accounts payable, general accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to grow beyond transactional accounting and develop the technical accounting skills needed for long-term career advancement. What You'll Do
- Support accounts payable processing and vendor management activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and vendor statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support product cost setup and maintenance.
- Assist with standard costing and manufacturing cost analysis.
- Participate in financial reporting and account analysis.
- Contribute to accounting process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance leadership on special projects and operational improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Manufacturing or cost accounting experience.
- ERP system experience.
- Internship or co-op experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA candidate status.
- Experience with process automation or workflow improvement.
