Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Junior Accountant supports the finance department by performing key accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This role requires strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the general ledger, including posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process. The Junior Accountant also assists with preparation for year-end audits and ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. In addition, this position serves as a backup to the Accounts Payable function and is responsible for processing purchase requisitions, coordinating purchasing activities, and maintaining office supply inventory to ensure both office locations remain fully stocked.

At AgeSpan, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining rate of pay. Actual rate of pay depends on factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $33 - $35/hour.
