We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Jr. Staff Accountant within our finance department! This position is a temporary assignment with a duration of 6 months or more This person will support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Processing. Performs administrative and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs administrative functions (mail processing, file maintenance, etc..) as assigned.
- Supports accounts payable with vouchering vendor invoices, filing payment packages, and other duties.
- Supports accounts receivable with posting cash receipts, researching past-dues, and other duties.
- Performs tasks related to general ledger accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, analysis, support schedules, etc.)
- Aids in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of accounting principles. Associates (or higher) degree in accounting a plus.
- Detail oriented , highly organized, & able to multi-task
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.)
- SAP experience a plus
