Jr. Desk Compliance Manager

Summary/Objective: The Jr. Desk Compliance Manager to manage a portfolio of Section 8 and LIHTC properties to ensure files are in compliance with federal, state and local agency requirements. This role will report to the Assistant Vice President of Compliance.
Classification: Non-Exempt; overtime eligible
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office/2 work from home
Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Reviewing and approving all recertification and move-in packages prepared by site managers/Recertification Specialists;
- Working with the site management team and staff to ensure all recertifications and move-in files for Section 8, 236/Mitchell-Lama & LIHTC are completed timely and properly pursuant to agency guidelines;
- Generating and processing HUD EIV reports for site managers
- Assist with OCAF paperwork
- Supports Desk Compliance Manager with preparation of all Agency and Investor reporting
- Guides site managers on recertification corrections and questions
- Assist with Special projects and reporting as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and property management software such as Yardi or similar systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and written skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00
