JOB PURPOSE:

This is a high-profile role providing finance support to the Irish leadership team to deliver the Irish business performance KPIs. As part of the UK&I Finance team, playing an SME role in understanding and improving supply chain costs. Evolving the finance function consistent with the change journey The Magnum Ice Cream company is on.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ireland Commercial Finance lead partnering Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain Teams, including end to end accountability for the Ireland P&L.

· Partner the Irish leadership team and provide core operational support, business strategy, financial planning and business controls.

· As commercial business partner for Ireland;

o Responsible for providing collaborative financial and analytical leadership, to help build and deliver the annual net revenue, profit and share plans.

o Support the Customer Teams analysing investment proposals to deliver the best data led decisions for the business.

o Support the commercial team in business controls including trade investment, marketing budgets and innovation projects

o Develop the S&OP forecast - reviewing it against short and long-term targets and ambitions to identify areas where the team needs to focus

o Support the commercial team on existing contracts, customer growth strategies and new business opportunities to deliver the annual plan

o Lead the monthly brand marketing forecast process to ensure accurate full year budget delivery. This involves end to end management, including forecasting, managing in month delivery including accrual management, and budget reallocation decisions.

· As part of the UK & Ireland Finance team, Support the team on supply chain costs as a subject matter expert (SME), this includes understanding key costs drivers through monthly engagement with the European team

· Embed business transformation processes across commercial teams as we move into new Magnum organisation systems and processes

· Monitoring and review of rebates across customer base with CAMs ensuring sufficiency and compliance procedures are adhered to.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

· Qualified accountant or equivalent experience with experience of finance partnering Sales and / or Marketing.

· Verbal and written communication skills to influence at all levels.

· Highly analytical, motivated, with excellent collaboration skills.

· Strong prioritisation and time management skills.

· Excellent knowledge of core finance business processes.

· Experienced in supporting testing and cutover readiness in operational finance contexts is desired.

· Experience consolidating inputs from GTM Finance and other finance SMEs to ensure compliance requirements are accurately represented.

· Comfortable working independently in fast paced commercial and project environment.
