- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, movements, and transactions across all systems.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet operational and customer demand.
- Track all incoming and outgoing inventory, including receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and variances.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintain and update inventory data in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, excess stock, and optimization opportunities.
- Support demand planning and forecasting based on historical data and usage patterns.
- Optimize warehouse layout, bin locations, and inventory processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to inventory rotation methods (e.g., FIFO) when applicable.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Prepare and present inventory reports, metrics, and insights to management team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role.
- Experience with inventory management systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work on the warehouse floor for extended periods.
- Experience with NetSuite or other similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and RF devices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret inventory trends and metrics.
- Basic understanding of inventory-related accounting principles.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Warehouse or distribution center environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Use of equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and handheld scanners.
- May require overtime or weekends during peak periods and inventory counts.
