Arkansas Talent Group is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst for a contract-to-permanent opportunity with a well-established organization in North Little Rock. This position is responsible for supporting accurate inventory control, cycle counts, receiving reconciliation, and daily reporting in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Position Overview
The Inventory Control Analyst will help ensure inventory accuracy and process consistency across receiving and cycle count operations. This role works closely with internal teams to research variances, maintain logs and documentation, and support ongoing operational improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable handling multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update receiving logs on a daily and monthly basis.
- Review packing lists and ASN documents for accuracy and research any receiving or delivery variances.
- Partner with the receiving team to verify products delivered and scanned into the inventory system.
- Manage cycle count logs, including daily updates, variance research, and reporting.
- Support quarterly perpetual cycle count scheduling and review items requiring additional attention.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date cycle count statistics for leadership review.
- Maintain and update receiving and cycle count processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Assist with additional accounting or operational projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and standard computer applications.
- Ability to identify, research, and resolve inventory, accounting, and purchasing discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage light office work, including extensive computer and telephone use.
