The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Internal Audit Division in the Internal Auditor Trainee position. This position will complete audits with help and coaching from higher level auditing staff. During the trainee period, the auditor will continue to become more independent and should be able to perform an audit independently by the end of the trainee period. The Internal Auditor Trainee will assist in conducting independent internal audits and projects including but not limited to financial, compliance, operational and information systems audits.
