HornBill has a client in search of a Internal Auditor in Fairhaven, Massachusetts (MA). Essential Functions:
- Assist in preparing reporting
- Assist external auditors on audits
- Assist in preparing internal financial reporting package
- Develop internal control program and ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley standards
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reporting in response to management inquiries
- Research technical GAAP issues and present conclusions
- Accounting degree
- 3-5+ years of auditing experience
- 2-4 years of public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred
- Exposure to GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills
