Job Responsibilities

The Internal Auditor II is responsible for performing compliance, financial and operational audits as developed and mandated by Internal Audit Leadership to assess operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. Responsible for completing audits in a timely and accurate manner. Required to prepare, plan, and organize assignments.

Performs observations and walk-throughs, analytical reviews, reconciliations, examines documents, and other procedures sufficient to determine an opinion, render a conclusion, or otherwise meet the objectives of the assignment. Develops an understanding of internal controls and their impact on related business processes.  Works under direction of others.  Oversight and observations of promotional events in accordance with NYSMICS.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds, and prolonged sitting during the shift. 

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests. Fluency in English required.  Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:

Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Pay Transparency: $70,000 - $87,560
