Basic Qualifications
1.    Good communication and documentation and must work well with all types of individuals.   
2. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, related field or equivalent experience a plus.
3. Experience in governmental environment; auditing and/or knowledge of GAAP helpful.   
4. Strong analytical skills with problem solving capabilities.   
5. Must have strong organization skills and be capable of handling various duties at one time.   
6. Self-motivated individual required with ability to complete work with little supervision.     
7.Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, MS Word, etc.) a must.   
8. Capable of follow through for completion of tasks timely and accurately    
9. Must have a strong work ethic (dependable, punctual, eagerness to learn), and be of good moral character.
10.  Have bookkeeping experience 


   Examples of Job Duties
1.Performs internal audits for county offices as assigned such as contract compliance, budget transfers, investment audit and special project assignments
2. Extracts data from the financial system and prepare ad hoc reports and other administrative assistance to the County Auditor.
3. Reporting as necessary and assigned.
4. General office duties including providing assistance to other staff and departments and performs additional tasks as assigned by Auditor.
