The Accounting Systems team is looking for a detail-oriented, highly analytical Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to join a collaborative team focused on enhancing existing production systems as well as new solutions addressing manual business processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of business systems analyst experience, demonstrate servant leadership qualities, and possess a desire to continuously learn.

- Lead requirement discovery and documentation through workshops and backlog/refinement sessions, using Agile and SDLC best practices
- Translate business goals into complete, clear, and actionable functional and non-functional requirements
- Create requirements artifacts that are easy to understand, test, and build from (user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and more)
- Partner with stakeholders to validate scope, priorities, and desired outcomes—ensuring shared understanding from day one
- Maintain end-to-end traceability and manage requirement changes to keep delivery on track and reduce rework
- Communicate confidently across technical and non-technical audiences by facilitating alignment through clear writing, presentations, and executive-ready updates
- Plan and support UAT with business partners, confirming solutions meet requirements and deliver a great end-user experience
- Serve as a trusted subject-matter partner for assigned systems—supporting issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate manual work by analyzing needs, researching trends, and recommending practical solutions
- 5+ years of business systems analysis experience supporting client-facing applications
- Prior hands-on development experience, including having worked directly with databases and data-driven applications
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries, data manipulation, and troubleshooting database issues
- Experience collaborating with technical teams to elicit requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, or BI platforms
