TreowGroup Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the Niagara region to hire an Junior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA candidate looking to build practical experience in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
This role offers exposure to costing, inventory, and full-cycle accounting, along with mentorship and support as you progress through your CPA designation.

Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting & Month-End
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial statements
- Process and code invoices with appropriate approvals
- Assist with payment runs and vendor reconciliations
- Support invoicing, cash application, and collections
- Assist with inventory tracking and reconciliations
- Support costing processes, including WIP and production analysis
- Maintain accurate data within the ERP system
- Assist with payroll processing and related remittances
- Support HST filings and other statutory requirements
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Support year-end preparation and external accountants
- 3+ years of accounting experience (co-op or internship experience considered)
- Currently pursuing or planning to pursue CPA designation
- Experience or interest in manufacturing or inventory-based environments
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, basic analysis, reconciliations)
- ERP experience is an asset (e.g., Dynamics NAV / Business Central)
