Job Description
Responsible for managing and analyzing claims and risk programs, including the end-to-end review, evaluation, and resolution of complex insurance and liability claims. Determine coverage applicability, evaluate losses, and ensure claims are resolved accurately, defensibly, and in alignment with organizational policies and risk management objectives.

Strong accounting skills and experience in
commercial insurance and/or self-insurance
are preferred.
Job Qualifications
Three years of accounting experience.
OR
Bachelors degree in accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration or finance, and one year of experience.
Major Duties
Reviews, validates, and reconciles financial transactions related to claims, recoveries, and settlements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Reviews, interprets, and applies internal policies, insurance provisions, and contractual obligations in support of defensible claims and risk management decisions.
Coordinates with third party administrators, insurers, legal counsel, and internal business partners to facilitate timely and effective resolution of claims and disputes.
Analyzes risk exposure and trend data to identify systemic issues and support the development of effective risk mitigation strategies.
Prepares analytical summaries, documentation, and management-level reports to support audits, leadership inquiries, and compliance reviews.
Actively supports process improvements and internal control enhancements to strengthen risk governance and improve operational efficiency.
Performs other duties as assigned.
