Job Description:
Assist with processing payroll on a regular schedule.
Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Maintain and update employee payroll records.
Verify timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies.
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll or timekeeping.
Assist and educate store management on policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Maintain compliance with company policies.
Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
Note: Job duties listed above may be changed as the business needs dictates. Teamwork and being flexible to take on new challenges and potentially relinquishing past responsibilities may be required.
Qualifications and educational requirements:
Prior administrative, payroll or HR experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email).
Familiarity with payroll software or HRIS systems is a plus.
Strong numerical and data-entry skills.
Time management and attention to detail.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
