UDC is seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our Human Resources team! The HR & Payroll Coordinator provides administrative support for Human Resources and Payroll operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day processes.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Waukesha, WI office. Employees are expected to work on-site two days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Additional in-office days may be required periodically to support business needs.
What you will do
This role is split between Payroll and Human Resources, with approximately 15–20 hours per week dedicated to payroll support and the remaining time focused on HR-related responsibilities.
Payroll Support:
- Timesheet administration for both US & India staff. Review timesheets for accuracy, communicate time sheet reminders, follow up on discrepancies, adjustments, and ensure timely submission to meet payroll deadlines.
- Time Off/Leave Time administration for both US & India staff. Review time off/leave for accuracy, communicate reminders, coordinate adjustments, and ensure timely completion of requests.
- Maintain system continuity between HRIS, FMS & AMS. Cost Center maintenance, employee profiles, and weekly importing procedures for both US & India timesheets.
- Manage Payroll inbox as first point of contact for payroll-related questions and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain scheduled and requested payroll reporting in HRIS.
- Monitor completion & maintain timesheet and travel training in the LMS.
Human Resources Support:
- Maintain and upload employee documentation to personnel files, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for internal and external candidates, collaborating with Technical Recruiter, hiring managers and applicants.
- Generate and compile HR reports through HRIS.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and other HR-sponsored events.
- May assist with ordering, organizing, and maintaining office and HR-related supplies, as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) highly preferred. Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in HR and Payroll.
Compensation Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $22–$25/hr based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
