The Financial Analyst II provides advanced financial and operational support for the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska ( BHECN ), with responsibility for complex financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management of multiple funding sources, including state appropriations, grants, foundation funds, and program-generated revenue. This position independently performs and oversees financial functions that require interpreting University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as applicable federal, state, and sponsor regulations. The Financial Analyst II serves as a key resource to leadership by providing data-driven insights, financial recommendations, and strategic guidance to support program sustainability and compliance. The role requires a high level of autonomy, technical expertise, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex funding environment. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective stewardship of public and private funds while supporting high-volume transactional processes and continuous improvement of financial operations.
