About the role Reporting to the Head of UK Tax, Reporting & Transformation, this role will involve the production of the Group’s tax balances are delivered on a timely and accurate basis, and that compliance obligations are fulfilled to a high standard. The role has a particular focus on Entity Tax Reporting and UK-specific Corporate Tax compliance, being primarily responsible for delivery of the UK Corporate Tax and Corporate Interest Restriction Returns, RDEC & Capital Allowance claims, quarterly instalments, along with managing the HMRC relationship and disputes. This role requires overseeing and working closely with our outsource partner in these areas. Key responsibilities Responsibility for coordination & production of monthly management account results Responsibility for production of Haleon External Tax Results, including entity and consolidation Tax Reporting Oversight and operation of associated SoX controls Ownership of technical elements of all Tax Reporting processes, adopting a continuous improvement mindset Oversight of Tax Service Team delivery of recurring Reporting processes Coordination of the Group’s cash tax forecasting All elements of the UK Corporate Tax compliance lifecycle, including specific subject matters such as CIR, CFC reviews, QIP calculations, WHT returns Oversight of Compliance Outsource Providers in respect of tax balances in the statutory accounts and Corporate Tax compliance obligations Relationship management with HMRC, including coordination of the annual Business Risk Review Providing ad hoc tax accounting analysis on intra-group funding, dividends and company reorganisations, as examples Qualifications and skills Essential · Strong accounting and tax background (ACA or equivalent) – ideally 2 years PQE · Broad understanding of UK corporate tax compliance principles along with international tax awareness · Ability to understand and utilise SAP accounting platforms. · Ability to work with large datasets and a proven analytic approach Preferred · Experience with Alteryx is desirable · Strong communication skills (oral and written) to be able to deal with senior stakeholders and finance contacts around the world · Ability to challenge current thinking and implement process improvement · Possess a high attention to detail, be resourceful, flexible and articulate. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Job Posting End Date 2026-10-17 Equal Opportunities Haleon are committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day.
