Job Description
As Group Internal Auditor (Lead & Hands-on), you will shape and strengthen the internal audit function across the Postcode Lottery Group. You will combine the coordination of our international audit approach with hands-on audit work, providing independent insight into risks and controls and helping to increase transparency and operational resilience across our lotteries. And every day at work, you’ll be doing your part for all the charities we support.
As Group Internal Auditor:
- You develop and maintain the Group Internal Audit framework, including the Audit Charter, methodologies, standards and reporting formats.
- You design and coordinate a risk-based, group-wide internal audit plan and ensure alignment between local priorities and group-level risks.
- You execute internal audits across financial, operational, IT and compliance domains, ensuring consistency and high-quality documentation.
- You act as functional lead for the international audit team, ensuring a consistent approach, quality and reporting.
- You deliver clear, actionable audit reports, ensure follow-up on findings and provide insight-driven reporting to the Audit Committee and Executive Board.
- You act as a trusted sparring partner to stakeholders and collaborate with external audit and other assurance functions, while strengthening Internal Audit capabilities across the Group.
You’d describe yourself as follows:
- You have significant experience in Audit, Risk or related assurance roles in an international and commercial setting, including experience in developing or maturing audit functions.
- You hold relevant professional certifications such as RA, RE, CIA, CISA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
- You have strong knowledge of internal audit standards, IT auditing, information security and governance, risk and control frameworks.
- You are an experienced audit professional in planning, execution and reporting within complex or multi-entity organizations.
- You are a strong communicator who builds trust, navigates stakeholder dynamics effectively and operates comfortably in an entrepreneurial environment.
- You’re looking for a monthly salary between €6.800 and €8.500, based on a 40-hour week.
