POSITION SUMMARY

The Grant Accountant is primarily responsible for overseeing all fiscal management activities related to Federal, State, and privately funded grants. This position ensures compliance with applicable funding regulations and reporting requirements, including Federal CFR 200 and the Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA).

As a member of the Hoyleton Financial Operations team, the Grant Accountant is also responsible for maintaining appropriate accounting controls and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), agency policies, and internal financial procedures.

CARE & TCI

Hoyleton has adopted the CARE (Children and Residential Experience), developed by Cornell University, to guide our culture and practice. WORKING CONDITIONS

This position operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to agency sites based on role responsibilities.

The role involves periods of walking, standing, or sitting, and may occasionally require climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, or lifting materials up to 25 pound, depending on job duties. 

Minimal exposure to environmental factors such as noise, dust, or varying indoor/outdoor temperatures may occur depending on program needs and client-related activities.

Salary Description $47,112.00 - $58,890.00 per year
