Grant Accountant (Contracts Division) – Temporary Need!
Immediate Need | Estimated 3-Month Assignment
A respected nonprofit organization making a meaningful impact in the community is seeking a Grant Accountant to join its Contracts Division on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with grant funding, budgets, and financial reporting in a mission-driven environment.
Location: Northwest San Antonio, TX
Schedule: In-Office Position
Assignment Length: Approximately 3 Months
Responsibilities
- Process grant reimbursement requests and related documentation
- Monitor and maintain grant budgets
- Assist with grant accounting and financial reporting activities
- Reconcile grant expenditures and funding allocations
- Ensure compliance with grant and contractual requirements
- Support the Contracts Division with accounting and budget-related projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Previous grant accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of budgeting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
